Favourite books and Authors

We are currently reading James and the Giant Peach by Roald Dahl and have recently read Fantastic Mr Fox, also by Roald Dahl as the children enjoyed the first book so much they wanted to hear another. Which is your favourite book or author and why? Do you have any recommendations for our next book as we will soon be finishing the one we are reading?
