Play dough factory fun!

The children in Reception were learning to follow instructions using a simple recipe to make play dough.

They were shown how to measure flour, salt, water and oil using simple measurements.

The children were then keen to add colouring and even different fragrances (strawberry and lemon were our favourites!) and we found out that it was tricky to stir as the mixture thickened. We then used different tools to roll, squeeze, squash, pinch, twist and poke the dough...messy but worth all the learning opportunities we had!
