Etchells is very proud of its Silver Eco Status and the work the Team do each term. Interested children are elected each year to drive school initiatives and promote Eco awareness in the school and wider community.
Older children are invited to apply for the prestigious positions of Playground Squaddies. They undertake leader training, promote and initiate positive play experiences within our beautiful play areas.
Our dedicated Librarians organise and manage our school library and run story sessions for the younger children.
Pupils are given the opportunity to complete a questionnaire about their school experiences. This is analysed by the School Council and can be used to initiate future developments/projects.
Head Boy / Head Girl
Children have requested they are represented by a Head Boy and Head Girl who act as ambassadors for both pupils and the school. The Year 6 pupils and staff vote for pupils to take on these roles for a term.
Our Head Boy and Head Girl proudly wear a unique red sweatshirt to signify their status within the school.
