2W fieldwork at local shops

Lesson: Geography

Class: 2W Year: 2019 - 2020

We visited our local shops to carry out some fieldwork activities. These inlcuded completing a traffic survey, sketching the local shops and buildings, making notes on what we liked and din't like about an area and completing questionaires with passers by. We learnt that we must never talk to people that we don't know, if an adult is not with us and we also learnt that it is polite to look at the person who is answering our questions. This was very difficult for some of us as we are not yet very confident when talking to unfamiliar adults, so we practised with our wonderful parent helpers!
