Hello all,

Welcome to our Class Page, Mr Cope teaches the class Monday- Wednesday and Mrs Macfarlane teaches the class Thursday- Friday. This term we are focusing on the topic 'Awesome Amazing Animals,' looking at where different animals come from around the world.We will be putting animals into different animal families and sorting them in a variety of different ways. In Geography, we will focus on the different continents and the oceans as well.

English

In English, we will be focusing on the book On An Ordinary School Day and completing a Non-Chronological report on different animals, with a focus on Big Cats. We will try to read with every child every week but we ask for the parents to be reading with their children as much as they can at home. There are documents on the class page to help support your child with reading and spelling.

Maths

Over the course of the term, we will be looking at addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Every Friday the children will be completing their X-Factor Maths, which focuses on Number Bonds to different numbers, keep a close eye on Class Dojo for which number bond will be completed during the week.
