What were your favourite ROBINWOOD MOMENTS?

Date: 2nd Nov 2016 @ 10:05pm

We have just arrived back from an amazing three days on residential at Robinwood. Tell us what your best bits were - and why!

I loved watching my new class work together and bond as a team. You were so supportive and kind to one another. I have so much admiration for how courageous you all were - trying things I would never be brave enough to.

Nightline is always a favourite of mine, too; I'll never look at squirrels in the same way again...

When you climb up the pole and jump to the bar felt so scary!

My favourite moment was when Caeden and I went first on the zip wire and the instructor told us to say 123 try not to wee.And the reason he told us to say that was because the harnesses were so tight was that it made want to go to the toilet.

My favourite was the giant swing and the zip wire because the giant swing gives you a big drop which is very fun and the group leader. The rest of the group shout chop banana chop chop banana because there is a string that is attached to the pole and it looks like a banana.

My two favourites was definitely trapeze and giant swing because on the giant swing it was like a rola-coster and if it was it would be my favourite. The trapeze was heart racing and the first time no one was keen and most of us hardly attempted it but on the second go nearly everyone got the bar and was outstanded. Robin Wood is amazing, they were nearly the best days of my life!

My favourite moment from robin wood was caving where you had to go through small man made tunnels, also when you were going through the tunnels it only had very dim lights so it was a little bit dark! Also I enjoyed going to the tuck shop and getting fizzy drinks and chocolate.

My favourite memory was caving and crate challenge because crate challenge you had to work together. Caving is a bit of a squeeze and you have to wear a helmet you had hatches in the roof to get out if you don't like it. But it's so fun.

I loved caving because the spaces were as tight as a knot, and we got to explore all the different caves.

My favourite one was the zip wire because it was 2 double decker buses on top of each other and it was attached to a wooden ramp at the bottom 2 people go down it at the same time.We also played a game where you fly down the zip wire and see who can stand up and throw you're hands up the quickest team 2 won(my team) 🙋🏻😝
