Year 2 Chester Zoo Day Trip

Year 2 pupils will be taking a visit to Chester Zoo for the day. Pupils are asked to wear warm comfortable clothing and shoes that are suitable for a whole day spent wandering around! They will also need to bring their lunch and a snack, in a small rucksack, as they will be carrying it around with them.

The aim of our visit is to investigate the different habitats in which animals from around the world, live; to find out about how animals move, grow and feed and of course to see some of the diverse creatures that live across the globe!

We shall leave school at 9:15 to arrive at the zoo when it opens at 10am, and are expecting to be back at school by 4pm, although this will be depedent upon the traffic. We will keep school informed of our progress so that you are notified if there are any changes to our plans.

We look forward to a great day and would like to thank in advance the parents that have offered to assist on the visit, without them we would not have been able to go.
