Our spring theme in reception is What's in the woods?

To launch our theme and to bring learning to life for the children, we had a 'woodland wonderland' immersion day. We transformed our classroom into a forest and we have a new role play den. The children were absolutely amazed, in fact I've never seen them so quiet when they first came in!

We will be learning about what might be found in a woodland, different animals, habitiats and envrionments and making fact-files on woodland creatures.
