Miss Hobson

Welcome to our class page. I'm Miss Hobson and our wonderful Teaching Assistant is Mrs Billinge.

I have taught for twenty six years and before qualifying as a teacher I worked as a classroom assistant with special needs children.This is my twenty sixth academic year at Etchells! It really doesn't feel like I have been here that long. I love working at Etchells, it is such a friendly, welcoming school with an amazing staff.

I enjoy any opportunity to sing with the children. Sometimes I present instructions in songs! It always amazes me how much Year 1 children change and develop during 1 year. It is a pleasure to watch them grow.

I have a very lively thirteen year old boy at home at Secondary school. At the weekends we love being outside, climbing trees, riding our bikes and walking our dog.
