Welcome to 2W!

My name is Mrs Wilson and I will be assisted this year by Mrs Cotterill and Mr Johnson, who supports some of our children both in and out of the classroom. I have been teaching for thirty one years and LOVE my job. I began my career here at Etchells in 1992 and despite leaving for 15 years to teach elsewhere, I have come back 'home' and hope to complete my time in teaching here in Year 2, where I have been for the past 9 years. Despite having taught in all years groups from Year 1 up, I would definitely say this is my favourite place to be! My favourite subjects are art, science and maths.

I am married and have three girls of my own, two of whom are still at school and one who is older. My husband is also a teacher. As a family we love to travel and to do exciting things such as canyonning, climbing and spending time in the outdoors. My hobbies include swimming and reading but I also like to spend time with my family on long walks. I'm looking forward to getting to know you all this year and to working with your children. While some of you have met me before, there are a number of new families for me to get to know.
