On Monday 27th June we received an urgent letter from the police asking us to help in an investigation into some strange things that have been happening around Heald Green. We began to look at the clues and to work out what they might mean.

On Tuesday we arrived at school to find that all of the cheese had gone missing and we set off to find out what had acused this. We followed a trail of footprints, scratches and cheese down to the local shops where we also found that the cheese had gone missing there as well. We saw notices about missing pets and several scratches that we thought were new. We used our IPADs to take pictures of all of the evidence and then made notes and used magnifying glasses to help us to spot that there were actually small pieces of black fur in the cheese trail. We are  now going to continue to do research into the culprit and then send our information back to the police in the form of a detailed letter.
