Welcome to our class page. I'm Mrs Macfarlane and our Teaching Assistant is Mrs Haastrup. Miss Edge also works in our classroom as a Learning Support Assistant. 

I have been a teacher for nearly 30 years but I took a long career break while my own children were young. I also worked part time for many years. I love working at Etchells, it is such a friendly, welcoming school with amazing staff, pupils and parents. 

Teaching Year 1 is great fun - there is never a dull moment!  It always amazes me how much children change and develop during the year. It is a pleasure to watch them grow.

When I'm not working I like to spend time with my family and friends, read, swim and walk my dog.
