Measuring using standard units in year 2

During the course of a week the children took part in a number of different measuring activities - using trundle wheels and tape measures for length; scales and grams for weight; measuring in ml to create mocktails and choosing from a range of different pieces of equipment for a measure hunt. They loved the practical activities and used online measuring games to consolidate the work they did individually and in groups.
